Ofelia Munoz and Roxane Herrera of Bank of America were awarded the 2010 ‘VIDA Award’ at the SHPE Silicon Valley Appreciation Banquet on August 18 for their energy and determination to help SHPE Silicon Valley making a positive impact in our community with their support of our Noche de Ciencias events.

Marvin Lopez and Marya Bloodsaw of PG&E were awarded the 2010 ‘Estrella Award’ at the SHPE Silicon Valley Appreciation Banquet on August 18th for their exceptional leadership and commitment to SHPE Silicon Valley and for helping fund a 2nd Noche de Ciencias, our largest community outreach event.

On Aug 18th, SHPE Silicon Valley announced Google, IBM, and Microsoft as ‘Company of the Year’ at the 2010 SHPE Silicon Valley Appreciation Banquet for their outstanding contributions to the organization and community in the Silicon Valley.
