As a Product Support Engineer for our customers, you will be part of the Global Support Team working alongside our exceptional team of professionals in Product Support, Engineering, QA and Sales Security Engineering (SE). Also working with Partners, you will be responsible for incoming level 2-3 support calls from our customers in North America and resolving the technical issues from beginning through completion—total account management.

Additional Responsibilities:
* Handling issues during standard business hours by working directly with our SE’s and Partners and troubleshooting customer issues and working with other departments (e.g. Engineering, QA) to resolve them.
* Being a focal point for technical issues and make sound decisions quickly.
* Understanding and documenting the customer’s requirements, managing expectations, and providing excellent customer service.
* Working with SE’s to help drive sale’s technically.
* Analyzing customer feature requests and forwarding them to the product management team.
* Assessing the customer’s technical environment, and planning installations and configurations

Qualifications:
* 1-3 years of experience in Software Development or QA of Network/Security products
* BSCS Degree or relevant technology experience
* Good knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls
* Prior experience with Linux and other Unix operating systems
* Prior experience with configuration and maintenance of Web servers such as IIS, Apache or Tomcat.
* Knowledge of a scripting language such as Perl, Python, Shell
* Prior experience with Database servers such as MS-SQL, Oracle, MySQL
* Excellent problem solving skills with a strong sense of customer commitment
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to travel both domestic and overseas
* Fluency (Both Written and Oral) in English; additional language fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is ideal
