SHPE Silicon Valley has partnered with StudentMentor.org to increase the number of Latino professionals mentoring local college students on professional or academic related topics i.e. the engineering field, the IT field, applying to graduate school, just to name a few. You get to choose the mentee by reviewing a list of possible matches. Then, you can decide to communicate with him/her in-person, by phone, or online. The length of the mentorship is contingent on the particular mentee’s needs.
