Hello,
I’m a 7th grade Science and English for Science teacher at Columbia Middle School in Sunnyvale, where about 65% of our students identify as Hispanic or Latino. We would LOVE to connect with the Silicon Valley Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers to do outreach, programming and/or mentoring with my middle school students. Our students live in the heart of the Silicon Valley, yet, because of resources, language or home lives, don’t always have the access to the amazing people and resources in our area. They would benefit from any and all connections with professional engineers in our community.
Please let me know how the best way to connect is. Again, we would love any and all outreach your members can provide!
