This program offers recent grads exposure to the core Technical Operations vital to manufacturing Genentech medicines. ORDP analysts have a chance to design and implement new processes, develop project management expertise, support world-class manufacturing, and help significantly drive business productivity and profitability.

During this two-year program, ORDP analysts experience four six-month rotations, gaining a broad perspective of the operations process. Assignments are available in three California locations – South San Francisco (our headquarters), Vacaville, and Oceanside – as well as in Hillsboro, Oregon. You’ll have the opportunity to support all operations, including:

Biologics Manufacturing
Global Supply Chain
Strategy & Engineering
Technical Operations Procurement
Technical Development
Quality
Regulatory
Training and Development

Formal training integrated with Genentech’s Learning and Development group
Formal presentation opportunities at the completion of each rotation assignment
Informal learning opportunities such as ORDP Forums, participation in the Mentor Program and networking events
Coaching through a Mentor Program
Advanced formal education opportunities
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within the last two years
Impressive academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA)
Disciplines: Biochemical, Biomedical, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Operations or related disciplines
Operations related internships or work experience
Demonstrated leadership skills
Passion and motivation to contribute to Genentech’s Operations organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
