Cisco is hosting the 2011 Student Technology Fair on Monday, March 28 for local high school students in the East Side Union High District and Sequoia Union High District in San Jose to practice interviewing and resume writing skills, and meet with professionals in technology and learn about different types of jobs available.

Cisco is looking for volunteers to conduct mock interviews and setup a career booth about their company to share job experiences with high school students. Approximately 300 students will participate at the technology fair.

How you can participate:
Approximately 150 industry volunteers are needed to help in these areas.
– Mock Interviewers (Volunteers Needed Between 10:00AM–1:30PM)
– Resource Booths (Volunteers Needed Between 10:00AM–1:30PM)
– Roundtable Discussion Leaders (Volunteers Needed between 10:00AM–1:30PM)
– Operations (Volunteers Needed Between 9:00AM – 2:00PM)

Over the last 2-3 years, SHPE Silicon Valley has been partnering with various companies in the Silicon Valley to promote their community outreach initiatives and events.
