On Thursday, Dec 8th, Google sponsored and hosted the 3rd Annual Holiday Networking Mixer with the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), ONYX Black Professionals, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View, CA. It was a huge success! Over 200 Bay Area professionals attended the event and had an opportunity to learn about the four professional organizations and network with complimentary food and refreshments provided by Google.
Rosalinda Zepeda, SHPE SV co-president, also summarized by saying “the icebreaker activity was also a huge hit and was a departure from the standard networking group activities. Everyone became a child again, looking for their matching starts. Thank you to all of our members who made it tonight. It is because of you we are a strong and successful organization.”
