Job Duties: The senior engineer will be responsible for developing tools and processes in the manufacture of semiconductor devices for solar technology. The engineer will own the tool development for etching and cleaning of GaAs wafers, glass and flexible substrates. The engineer will also develop cost-effective processes and build specifications for in-line tools including wafer handling, process control and automation. Working in a team, the candidate will enable procurement and integration of these tools into the solar module fabrication workflow, and enable scaling up the technology for manufacture.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related discipline plus five years experience in process engineering.
Five years experience in process/tool development in solar industry; Technical expertise in substrate handling and automation for in-line tools; Technical expertise in wet chemistries and process development for semiconductor device manufacture; Experience in both development and manufacturing environments; Technology transfer experience from R&D to manufacturing.

Job Duties: Responsible for developing robust wet chemical processes capable of large-scale PV manufacturing. Duties include working with hardware design engineers to optimize process performance; determining process windows and sensitivities; establishing metrology requirements for process control; documenting process specifications; and implementing processes for high volume manufacturing.
Job Requirements:
Masters degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related. Requires minimum 5 years experience in job offered/semiconductor and PV process development.
Experience must include five years’ experience in semiconductor and photo-voltaic process development and manufacturing engineering; experience must also include developing semiconductor wet cleaning, wet etching, electroplating and electro-less plating; statistical process control; process development for solar cell manufacture; and experience transferring process from R&D into high volume manufacturing platforms.
