On Saturday, March 3rd, the MESA Schools Program at San Jose State University is holding their annual MESA DAY 2012 competition for over 700 middle and high school students from Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. Students will compete in math and science projects that are intended to be fun and designed to help them apply their academic skills to real-world scenarios such as the ‘Wind Energy Challenge’ and the ‘EggXpress’.

Each year, MESA needs over 200 volunteers to help support MESA DAY 2012 and the MESA student participants. If you’re interested in volunteering, please sign-up at
