This is an exciting opportunity to join an international leader in the design and manufacture of pumps, systems and accessories for residential, municipal and commercial applications including water, wells, HVAC systems, pressure boosters, boiler controls and fire protection. ITT’s brands serving Residential and Commercial Water markets include Goulds Pumps, Lowara, Bell & Gossett, McDonnell & Miller, Vogel, A-C Fire Pump and Flowtronex.
ITT Residential & Commercial Water (RCW) is seeking an Applications Engineer. The person in this role will be responsible for providing cordial, timely, and accurate Turbine Pump Industrial product application and quotation assistance to customers and distributors. Work together with marketing and field sales to understand the needs and desires of the customers and provide them with service levels that meet or exceed customer expectations.
The major responsibilities are as follow:
– Achieve annual revenue targets.
– Achieve annual standard margin targets.
– Customer satisfaction and retention.
– Perform material and design selections for various applications and specifications.
– Receive customer purchase orders for quoted projects and prepare technical documents for presentation to order entry group.
– Open quotation follow-up and quote status reporting.
– Provide selection and quotation training to external customers.
– Project pricing and leadtime negotiations.
– Update and research recommendations for product and system improvements.
– Other duties as assigned.

Experience (Required):
– Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, or technical required or equivalent.
– Fluent in Spanish and English language (Required)
– Minimum of one year pump related experience.
– 5+ years experience in Industrial Pump sales and service
– Must have knowledge of pump hydraulics, mechanics and construction, common metallurgical uses. Strong math and engineering skills required.
